Revell 1:6 427 engine
Found this the other day while Christmas shopping with the wife at Hobby Lobby. A cool Revell 1:6 scale big block 427. I was surprised at the fine detail and I didn’t even have to paint anything. All you need is a small Phillips screwdriver, needle nose pliers, super glue and about 2 hours of free time. Revell screwed me out of two pieces though…the starter solenoid cover and one port for the fuel pump. It even has a working wing nut on the air cleaner assembly so you can take it off to show off the carb details.
 Nice kit though! Wish they made a L18 8.1L

Nice work Larry! I've got the street SB350 here in my office, and I was amazed with the detail as well.
I'm wishing they made an inline... say a 250.

Yeah, I think I have that one too. Made by Liberty Classics? It is in a transparent box with an opening in the back to turn the flywheel . It also says “1967 Camaro SS 350 Turbo Fire”. I think I got that one at Toys R Us a few years back.

That looks really cool, lots of great detail!
 Made me think of the Visible V8 I built many years ago -- anyone remember those? I lubed it up and connected a drill motor to the rear of the crankshaft, the kids & I had fun watching it run...
