Those are brand new springs unweighted. They will settle some and when you put the rest of the truck on it. How much is hard to say.

As the shackle rotates it changes the angle of the axle. Depending on the at-rest angle of the shackle the angular change of axle will be smaller or greater.
As was previously mentioned, I wouldn't mess with adjustments to pinion angle until you get the truck at final ride height. Posted via Mobile Device

old post, nice info. originally the rear end in my 69 gmc had tapered blocks, i left them out and now its binding, so i jacked up the pinion end 1'' and it dont bind now. guess i better get them back in? it also has a 4'' lift now. any input here?

They look short... Did you measure your stock springs? that era trucks had 52 and 56 inch springs. might have been 52 and 54inches
