Re: Good Guys Car Show, Scottsdale

When is it this year? Do you know the dates?

I was there last year and was blown away. So many vehicles and one of the biggest and best swap areas I have seen for a long time.

My wife and I are marrying off our daughter the end of this December then we are down to the desert for a at least a couple of months. Normally we would be down there already but she is our baby so maybe we better show up!!!

Gives the northern rodders who have winter homes in Arizona a viable reason to head to Arizona a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving.

Sitting here with it being 41 degrees outside and fighting to get the fire to kick out enough heat to warm up the living room that doesn't sound like a real bad idea.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

That's cool! Hot Rod Mag was there and posted a photo shoot...looks like there was a big cab forward wrecker that the door signage was near my neck of the woods.

Sounds like you had a good time!

Ya I hear ya! Have had the wood stove going for the last 3 or 4 days in the house. Also in one end of the shop to help keep it warmer for the priming and frame painting I am doing.

We are just east of Apache Junction when we are down there and the car shows and car guys/gals are just great. Heck many super market parking lots are turned into car shows every Friday night.

I keep hoping to run into a rust free really old truck down there!!! Maybe some day!

We head down in early January this year always bringing our side by side to explore the desert.
