"New" from SoCal

Hey Guys,

Been a long time lurker and don't post much, but wanted to finally post since I bought my first C10. I've been in the air cooled VW scene for close to 15 years and always wanted an old truck, so I went for it. Always had chevy trucks as DD vehicles, owned a lowered 98 single cab, along with a 65 bug, 67 bug, and my current Sierra daily. My new truck is a 62 big window, short bed fleet side. Pictures below. Thanks everyone for the participation on the site, loads of great info on here! Excited to get my build going!

Re: "New" from SoCal

Welcome Ben... FYI... all of the original body parts on your truck except the hood and two front fenders were stamped in Indianapolis IN at the stamping plant that I retired from.

My Dad and uncle was working there in 1962. I started in 1972.

ps... love your truck.

Is that on old Harley sitting next to your truck?
