C4 ifs/irs
For those of you running C4 front and/or rear suspension, what wheels are you running? Thanks for pics ahead of time.

That looks good, while being larger the wheels don't look BIG or overpower the truck. One great looking truck by the way.

How close are your tires from the fenders? Was hoping to still be able to run wheels with a good size lip.

I would be interested in pictures and backspacing as well. It is important to remember 84-87 suspension is 1 inch narrower. That is the reason I went with 84-87 suspension on mine. I would like to run a 15 inch steel wheel with dog dish type cap and a meaty tire if possible.

These are steelies I have on my truck with C4 suspension. These are just rollers I took off my 67 Chevelle. I have no idea how they would fit with a bed on it as I do not have one yet. I know they make wider rear fenders out of fiberglass.

I've got a 86 vette front and flatout crossmember to go in my 54 as well..and am wanting to run as wide a front as possible..I'm planning on 17 or 18 in wheels and would like my tire to be around 28" tall..I havnt got it in yet so backspacing and steering clearance is my issue..

Thanks for the compliments on the truck. The wheels are 17x8 in the rear and 17x9 in the front. The tires are 255/50. I have 85 corvette suspension. I had problems finding wheels that would not rub the fenders in the front, that is why the front wheels are wider because of the needed difference in the backspace. I believe there is a 6.5" backspace in the front.

Good to know what you did smittster..255/50-17 puts your tires at 27"tall and 10" wide..6.5" backspacing...that all helps alot..I was hoping to run a 10"wide up front and 12" out back.
