That's a bummer....I think I'd shop for a new roof...what's the rest of the cab like?

If it were me I'd opt for a different roof. That's a lot of patching, and there's going to be hidden rust on the inside of those panels.

Thanks for the reply I've have a Donor roof from a 71 with cab lights cutting my roof and transplant the donor really worries me if it,s not right the cab is toast I'm going to dig into into my roof to more I'll post some pictures soon .Saddletramp

I'd swap just for the cab lights!

I appear to have the same truck, more or less, in a 1970. Same color, but mine's a Sierra Grande longhorn.

If it was me, I would replace the roof on that cab at a convenient place on the A and B pillars. There are a bunch of joints in the upper area of the windshield corners and drop rails that are likely bad too.

Thanks Guys for replying I think I'm going with the roof swap but I'm scared about making the right cuts can any of you guys send me a thread or explain on the right way to swap roofs I'm good with the welding it's just if I jack it up my cab is junk I'm trying to restore this truck back to original condition Thanks again guys .
