A question I wish to answer

Hi

A question I wish to answer, is the original white color from the factory in the door coming in and out or just outside?

Re: A question I wish to answer

My '70 had the window frames painted white. But it has been repainted, so I'm not sure which way it should be. After all, when it was repainted, the lower section was painted hugger orange instead of white, like it came from the factory. It was white/orange/white, originally.

Re: A question I wish to answer

I have a project now GMC 1969 and am not sure about the color of the factory. Is there a guide from the company or a special brochure to the colors?

I believe it varies from different plants. I have seen them both ways.

I think the best solution is the factory manual

Re: A question I wish to answer

This is my original paint 1972 truck built at the Flint plant. You don't see the doors paint like this very often. It is a plant variation. I personally don't like the look of this, I prefer only the edge painted.
