Rebuild Question

Since I am doing an off the frame restoration, I would like to know if there is anything I can put between the metal parts to reduce squeaking. Right now it is bolted down metal on metal and it squeeks. Rubber would do this but would deteriorate over a short period of time and the problem would be worse.

Re: Rebuild Question

What metal parts are you refering to? That would help us to answer your question.

Re: Rebuild Question

All metal parts where they bolt up to other metal parts. Example: The running boards bolted to the brackets.

this is for the fenders but I'm sure you could find something for the running boards.
