Wake up call
My 95 pound German Shepherd woke me up making grumbling noises really early this morning. I figured that he had to go out and do his business. So I dragged myself out of bed and opened the back door for him. Half asleep.
Then all hell broke loose. I heard my dog going nuts. I ran out (wearing only my boxer shorts) And see him chasing a Pitbull around my back yard. He's not kidding around. And he's got this other dog on the run. I'm thinking I'm going to have a dog fight on my hands. I just woke up and I'm standing in the cold in my underwear. Thankfully.I was finally able to get my dog under control and back in the house. And the other dog jumped back over the fence and ran off. What a way to wake up. I need to drink today.

I stay away from the Tequila these days. Last time I had it I ended up hungover and married.

Re: Wake up call
I agree, I have not had any "alcohol" based drinks in over 25 years.

Re: Wake up call
Well it’s good that you and the dogs are ok.
I started my day with activating the remote start on my work van. 10 minutes later I go out put the keys in the ignition. Then I decided to organize the van. All the doors are frozen shut. I get them freed loose and finish straightening up the van. I jump in the drivers seat and see that there is still some ice on the windshield so I get out and scrape the windows. So I go to get back in the van and the door won’t open. I think there’s no way that door has frozen shut. It was the only door that wasn’t froze. I try to pry it open and see that the doors are locked and realize that I can’t get to my full cup of coffee. I don’t know how it happened but I’m standing out in 4* weather thinking over my options. I decided against slinging a brick through the back window. Next option is to call my buddy that owns a tow company. 30 minutes later with my ears numb but I am fully clothed Mike shows up with tools to open the door. I’m beginning to think that someone put a curse on my van. I’m pretty sure I won’t buy another Ford. |

Re: Wake up call
About 2 weeks ago my wife let the dogs out the front door and went back to the kitchen. She looked out the back window and saw a coyote about 25 feet from the house. Luckily neither the coyote or the hounds noticed each other. Good thing was the dogs go to the bathroom then bumrush the door for breakfast which limited the time for confrontation. Glad yours is alright.
