Three squarebody questions

Did all of the 73-87 squares have the same thickness door glass?I have a real thin one that came from somewhere.
I noticed on both sides of my 85 the lower rear bed wheel well was loose at the bottom. How was they secured at the factory?
Does all window sashes have a loose metal strip?I have 4 and they all have a loose strip. How to you repair it?

Re: Three squarebody questions

The only one I can answer is that the rear wheel opening on the bed has a brace that stiffens it up. About 5/16" round stock with flattened ends with a bolt hole drilled in them. Yours is obviously missing.

Re: Three squarebody questions

I have that round brace in front of the rear wheels. Are you sure there is supposed to be one on the rear behind tires?I got a couple more squares and they are secure without rod brace on rear.

I aint talking about wheel well trim being loose. If you grab the rear lower bedside behind the wheel well trim you can move it back and forth.

Re: Three squarebody questions

Yours appears to be missing the about 6"x6" metal piece that serves as a rear wheel well mud flap. It uses two bolts along the top and one of the holes you can see grass through in your pic. There was a thread a few weeks ago about those.

No clue on the window questions.

Re: Three squarebody questions

Sorry for the wrong info on the support brace. Mine is on the front, not rear.

Here is a pic of mine. No movement on the outer sheet metal.
