Hatch bolt Covers - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am cleaning out the garage and came across some covers for the bolts on the hatch. I collected parts for years and forgot about these covers. I recognize the larger covers but had a few covers that are smaller / narrower than I remember. Showing a picture side by side. The smaller ones are about 1/2 inch narrower. Anybody know what they are for? Thanks

The smaller ones should be for the top side of the hatch hinge openings. mine have a small bend on the edge of the long side. The bigger ones are for the hatch side
