Found a couple of 'em (Canopy Express and Burb)

I may be making a deal on one or both of these. I really want the Suburban for functionality, but the Canopy Express is so cool. How about that patina on the 'burb?

Re: Found a couple of 'em (Canopy Express and Burb)

Nice Find! Would be a tough call for me also on which. A little CLR and elbow grease will go all long way cleaning up the burbs paint.

If you go w/the burb, make sure you search that barn high/low for all the window(s) and associated window trim. Inner window trim covers are hard to find and $$$ and the stainless pulls/trim on the windows are nearly impossible to find. Looks like the canopy is pretty complete. Keep us updated w/the outcome.

I love my burb for it being so different/uncommon and can haul the family. There are times however that I wish i had a truck for hauling stuff. If you could pull off both you'd have the best of both worlds.

Re: Found a couple of 'em (Canopy Express and Burb)

I think the windows are intact, which hopefully means the interior trim has not been messed with. I zoomed in on the photo and can see the glass reflections, they're just not as dirty as the windshield. This is the only photo the owner has and has not been in the barn in about 3 years. I also have two trucks, so hauling is covered...but I love the canopy, and have always thought they would be cool with a rear-facing seat in the back.

Great find, both look like they would have great potential. Some Canopy Expresses I've see don't have a back to the, that one seems to have one. I think that Canopy Express is a great find. What else was in there, see a car sitting next to the Express.

I'm more into sweet paint jobs, but I think I would just clear those as the look is awesome.

Floating through Craiglist for NM and Texas, I recently saw one for around $19,000 if I remember right.

Re: Found a couple of 'em (Canopy Express and Burb)

Hey guys, sorry I have not been monitoring this thread. When I first met the gentleman who owns these I thought we could do some negotiating, but I failed. I think one or both were tied up in a trade deal and he didn't want to lose money but I think they're overvalued. He said he turned down $10,000 for the canopy so that wasn't even a starting point. No titles either. I left it at that. If somebody would like to contact the owner, PM me for info. Leevon
