trailing arm and coil springs suspension beefing up question

on a 3/4 ton 69 if i wanted to beef up the suspention what would be the best or resonable way to go its trailing arms and coil spring it has coil over shocks and over loads . can you do air bags or etc ?????

Air bags would offer the best ride while increasing capacity. High quality shocks & a frame width Panhard bar to minimize side shift.

so i could put a air bag set up on the rear of it and i can still leave my coil springs and coil over shocks and overlaods on it too ???? where would be the best place to put the aor bags in front of the coil springs towards the cab or right on the rear end top of the axle .

not all 3. Remove the rear coil springs and replace them with bags. I am not sure about using load adjusting shocks with bags though, I just don't have enough knowledge

i didnt figure u could use the air bags with the rear coil springs wouldnt severe any justice in my oppion the bagd pumped up the springs be useless and the springs there the bags be useless

For what I think you're wanting to do (beef it up, not lower it) the air lift bags that go inside the coils may be what you're looking for?

Eliminate the coils. Get the correct bag for the weight capacity & install them in place of the coils. Eliminate the 'helper' shocks & utilize some top end mono-tube gas shocks (I like Bilsteins). The Long Panhard bar w/poly bushed ends helps keep things in place w/minimal movement. Poly bushings in the front of the truck arms are a good idea too.

Keep it simple.

yes im not wanting to lower it im just wanting to elimate more sagging .i like to dump aor on them for better ride when im not towing anything and when im towing something pump them up .

They do make helper bags that go inside a coil spring,But they don't last as long as a true air bag by its self will.
