upper control arm rubbing top of spindles

Looking for little help here guy's!

Working on my wife's 67 C10 with 83 C10 front subframe complete with upper and lower control arms from 83. I installed drop spindles from ECE and when you cycle the wheels the back of the upper control arms it the top of the spindles.

Truck does have new ball joints yet to grease my buddy is bring my grease gun over tonight from work. Truck has been apart for couple years so Could be something simple actually.

Hoping for a quick fix before I take upper loose at ball joint and trim it up some.

Anyone help a guy in a jam out? Thanks Brandon

Is the suspension compressed or extended? Check clearances w/it compressed.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Compressed with engine and transmission in frame rails, no other body parts installed.

Thinking might need to trim little on upper arms.

If you had the upper arms off, are you sure you have them on the right side, and not flip flopped?

Re: upper control arm rubbing top of spindles

It will clear fine once you have more of the truck together, no where near enough weight to start to worry about it.

On an 83 the brake lines are on the front of the upper A arms.
