Wire tucking!

Hi to all. I'm rewiring/ tucking all of my under hood wire on my 64 lwb for a little cleaner look. I have all the harness of my 64 I6 and a complete one from a 78 HEI v8 truck. going to cut down the 78 to make work for the 64. i have already done the headlight harness and added relays into it for a little upgrade. All the info or incite to doing this would be Very helpful.

I ran all my wires down the firewally through the hole where the speedo cable normally goes through.
Then I went 'up' to the HEI, oil sending unit, along with temp unit.
I also am running a elec speedo so I didn't need that hole. So it worked out perfect. Ran this through the frame rails into the speedo sending unit
All my tailight wiring also goes through that hole.

As far as my hood turn signals (and an underhood light) I ran them through the firewall. Then tucked them behind the hood brace.
I also removed any necessary wiring from the original connectors going through the hole by the left inner fender. I then used one of the empty slots in that connector for my underhood light.
The headlight wire was only an on-off, This one ran though the left frame rail
I ran two relays to my headlights so of course so I ran a wire going from the battery (mounted with a drop down box behind the cap).

So really all you see is the wires coming through the firewall running to the hood brace.

I welded and smoothed all the firewall holes

Well, I only found some pics of the engine bay. It does show where the wiring goes, but it's hard to see. You'll have to study the pictures.
By the way, I said I ran the headlight wiring down through the speedo hole, I forgot, I did run this wire along with another one down the inner fender seal. All other wires went through the speedo hole and ran down the frame rail.

All the pics are of the same basic area, but at slightly different angles.
--The first pic is just the mess of wires behind the dash.
--The second pic shows how I tucked them behind the hood slat (after running them through the hole in the hood brace.
--third and forth you can see the only wires that come out of the firewall.

I ran my heater and AC hoses under the inner fenders. My wires run under the exhaust headers and to the back of the engine.

My wires for the engine come up the back of the engine. The wires for the headlights etc. run thru conduit imside the frame rail. Being my first one it's not too bad, I have seen a lot of nicer ones. It's time consuming to hide wires, but makes a better product. I still need a better way of seperating my AC heater hoses.
