New guy with a ‘69 GMC fleetside shorty in London, OH

Black with light tan bucket seat interior. Pretty well equipped with automatic, power steering, power brakes, Small block V8, factory tach, no a/c. I’ll get pictures up soon.

Question: I have no glove box sticker. What, if anything can I do to figure out if the truck is correct as it came from the factory as far as equipment goes? Is there a build sheet hidden somewhere and if so, where to look? Thanks!

Glad to be here!

Chuck

Sometimes you can find a build sheet behind fuel tank, behind seat or under bottom of the seat.

Photos of the ‘69 GMC fleetside shorty in London, OH

A couple quick pics taken this evening. Haven't touched a thing on the truck yet. First thing to go will be the purple window tint. I wonder if this is a factory sliding window?

Why do some GMC trucks have the letters on the leading edge of the hood and others do not. Mine does not have them, but I’d like to add them.
Thanks!
