Unfortunately I will have to set that photo album up again. It no longer exists and I have been to lazy to make a new one.

that is one hellava truck!
i am currently having a camaro built for me with the ramjet 350 and the 4l60e. the car is 3/4 together and the wiring harness' are done except for marrying the 350 to the 460. do you know where to get some diagrams other than the ones gm puts out or where to find someone who can do this?

WOW I love your truck. that thing is gorgeous... and the comments on the "pushing friends" it kinda sounds like my dad and his buddies... a simple swap for a 91' rx7 turbo motor has now turned into a 383 aluminum block buildup... Oh well, thats what friends are for, right? I'm lovin the truck, man!

I know its been a couple months since last post, but I just need to say I love your truck. I have a 74 cheyenne long bed stock 454 and just love the way yours turned out.

Mine needs some body work and updating underneath like newer suspension.

Starting to document it so keep an eye out.

The truck looks great bet its faster now the break in is over.Have you looked at vintage air with one of there kits you can lose the heat/ac box on the firewall.Could do like most camaro owners and run the ac lines up in the fender to the cab.

If you only knew . . .... Ken sold the old motor from the 77 to me (it only needed valve seals right??). I tore the motor down & cleaned it up. Scraped all the gunk of the top of the pistons from 80K worth of use. I had the heads cleaned up w/a valve job & new springs installed; matched & verified the installed heights/pressures, installed a new cam, timing set, & oil pump. Then I painted the assembly w/some black POR-15 & added some bling (powder coated black valve covers, billet breathers, & polished SS fasteners).

Where is it now? Sitting on a dolley in my garage waiting for a home. My 68 beater was the intended hole to fill but my city had a different view on building a vehicle in your driveway.

So.... I got a decent drivetrain @ a decent price only to have it stalled by the man......

It was asked but I think it was overlooked as I didn't see an answer to the question about what type of paint you used on the engine and transmission. How is it holding up?

How many miles on it now?

This has got to be in the top 5 trucks on this board IMO and definitely top square body. Just perfect. Not overly done up but still enough customization to separate from other clean trucks. Excellent taste in build character bud!

The paint on the motor is standard automotive paint. It was meticulously cleaned, primed and painted.

It is holding up well. I don't have a lot of miles on it, but feel confident that it will endure from past experience.

Man I have always loved that truck you have I just wish I could have seen it in person.I used to live in Cypress in 00-06 but have since moved to the D/FW area I sold my old 68 before the move and have regretted it every since.Been out of the scene since a rough divorce but now the bug has bit again I got a 93 model a few days ago and the customizing has already begun.

You already make everyone else truck look bad, when will you be satisfied!?

J/K, awsome truck man, If that don't get people motivated nothing will! I read through this thread when I wrecked my 78 and this one got me back into it to rebuild it and make it new again.
