Got both the trailing arms cleaned up and first coat of primer on them. Have plans to go to the drag strip with a friend today so that cut today's work day short. At least i can enjoy myself knowing I didn't slack today and accomplished something. Lol.

Haven't done much to the truck lately. Been saving money to buy parts. Found a 68 front clip that overall is in good shape, needs some work but not to bad. Also got a pair of bucket seats and console out of a 91 chevy. They are low back and I think they are going to work good. I'm a little over 6'1 and they sit alittle to high. I'll have to trim the brackets or make new ones. Tried to gets some pictures posted but I live in the country and have dial up and it didn't want to load pictures today. Wish I could do it off my phone. I'll try again when I get the chance.

congrats on the parts score! I know what you mean about the height. I'm 5'10" and it seems like my head is gonna be in the roof. were people smaller in the 60's.

THanks John. I don't have the original seat out of my truck so I don't know what the brackets looked like but the ones on the buckets are tall. Think I can take an inch or more (hopefully) out of the middle of them. You using the original seat or you using something else.

I have the original bench. It might just be that it makes you sit up straight, feels like I'm leaning forward because I like to recline a bit.

Haven't really done much lately. Trying to save up money for the suspension parts I need. I'm going to go with a static drop. Think I'm going to go with a 4 1/2" and 6 1/2 drop. I want to get a Porterbuilt bolt in c-notch. They are a little more money but they look like a lot better built piece. Also want to go with No-Limits rear shock relocation kit. Convert it over to 5 lug. Would like disc on all front and rear but we shall see. Did find a good deal on some Tri-Plus 67 fenders from a board member. To try and keep the motivation up I hung a door and stuck a fender on it.

Thanks Eddie. Having a shop to work in was a dream of mine for many years before I finally was able to build one. It still is a ways from being finished. Presently trying to get out from under some bills so the truck and shop is pretty much on hold till spring then it's going to be hard and heavy on the truck then the shop. I also have a 70 Nova I'm wanting to build but it's on the bottom of the list. Lol

SHOP ENVY! looks like good progress! If you're bucks down and have a welder, do a pipe notch, nuthin to it. Get some 3/4 ton springs from the salvage and cut 1 1/2 coil. Jeep springs have no load cap, but will get it down in the rear, and blocks are easy to fab. Bolts are 36 bux. Use 73-87 spindles from summit or somewhere cheap and you in bidness! Keep the faith and just do one thing every day, no matter how small. You'll be shocked how you boogie along.

Tri Plus Parts are the good stuff ! and Low Elco has some good advise on doing something on the truck everyday, works for me and gets rid of that I'm not getting anything done feeling.

I got shop envy too. I would have my all pulled apart if my garage was big enough. Unfortunately, mine is a 70's compact car size garage. Think the original owner must of had a Vega or something to that effect.

Truck is looking good, and the best part of it is driving it out of the garage in the end.

Thanks. Pictures make the shop look bigger than it is, 26x30. Enough room to spread a truck out though. Eastwood has a new tool that allows you to weld pins on with your Mig welder. Think I'm going to buy one and do some body work while saving funds up for parts.
