Re: my race truck

Truck is looking good. I like your plans. Can't wait for you to start getting pictures up. As far as the power plant, I say go with a big block. big block or no block is the way I look at it. Just my .02

Re: my race truck

Well right now the ol girl is in storage for the winter. I dont have a garage right now so I am just finishing up the build details. I was gone for work while the last of the nice weather was around. So this spring the build will pick up.

Re: my race truck

Here we go again. Well after a long time of not working on this truck because of my other project, BLOWNUP and getting the Weiand Super charger straightened out I can now turn my attention to my first love. I have been a little bit busy today. I took the cab and front clip off, and removed what was left of the outer rocker panels . I am waiting on quotes from a couple sand blaster, so i can have the cab and frame blasted. Goodnews is the bottom of the pillars are perfect, the bad news is the cab supports are almost all gone. I also noticed something a little odd about the rear coil springs. They seemed a little narrow and had more coils then the after market ones I have seen, turns out they are front coil springs. I am guessing the PO did this to lower the rear with out having to buy new springs. Well here are the pics of the good the bad and the ugly.
