Help-drivers side window stuck down

The regulator has worked fine for years, I was rolling it down and when it reached the bottom there was a small clunk and now it is seized. I would really like to avoid removing the whole assembly. Has this happened to anybody else? I would prefer to fix it without removing but not sure if that is possible. Thx for any info you can provide.

Re: Help-drivers side window stuck down

I'm guessing you'll need a new (old) regulator. Don't buy a repop unit, or you will be sorry six months from now. In the meantime, pull the door panel off and jiggle the regulator and window until you can get it to go up, and then leave it up until you're ready to pull the regulator.
