I drove the donor truck today to try out the engine and it ran great with a lot of power.It has great oil pressure and no smoke. I am going to start pulling it maybe tomorrow.

Here is a picture of the engine, I pulled the valve cover and it looked super clean and it had roller rockers

Here is some more progress on the truck. I have the rearend done with new seals, bearings,brakes. I painted the shocks and brake lines, and replaced the rubber line. I also have one rocker installed and one to go.

The paint is some I picked up at the parts store used for tractors and tractor parts like blades and bushogs. It is very sticky and covers well and is very durable.

No pictures yet but I do have the engine cleaned up and ready for paint and am planning on working on the bell housing and transmission tomorrow. Once painted I will install them in the truck and get some pictures.

Just an update I have the truck running and am starting the body work. I still have to bleed the brakes then it can drive. I will post some pictures soon.
