Thank you! It's nice to have so many people from MO on this board.

Not much of an update but the frame is painted and I began installing the rear dropmember. I'm so anal that I make sure all of the letters stamped into the washers face down so you can't see them

I will update with a pic shortly. For some reason my phone won't let me upload today.

Lookin' good. What did you use to prep/paint the frame after sand blasting?

My initial thought was to powder coat it satin black, but since I plan on driving it a lot I wanted something that I could touch up when needed. I chose VHT chassis and roll bar paint. It is affordable and available at local stores. The reviews seem to be good so we shall see.

Not many know but I used to be into BMWs too. I had a pretty fast little e90 chassis 335 once upon a time.

335's are awesome. Its hard to beat twin turbos.its amazing the hp and torque you can add on those things with a tune. I really want an e90 M3 but I'm going to give it a few years. They are starting to get very affordable. Have you ever driven an e39 M5? Those things are pretty bada$$ too. Not to spill the beans but I plan to incorporate BMW colors into my build

Nice! Looks like yours was a 95 as well. Those cars are so much fun to drive. Do you have a build thread for your truck? I'll have to check it out

Thanks. Yeah, 95 M3. Intake, catback, sport springs, camber plates, shifter etc. I loved driving the car but I look forward to the extra torque of a V8

Build thread link is in my signature.

Re: '69 SWB | Zoie Jane

Well I just accepted a job offer and wont be working on the truck much until after training is over. The training period is 7 months and will require me to be away from home the majority of the time, and the little I will be home will be spent with my fiance and daughter. But the increase in pay should speed up my build once the training is over. Stay tuned

Thanks! Progress will be slow. Just got a new job and will spending alot of time up in Canada, then Europe, then back to Canada for a bit for training. The good thing is a should be able to build up a nice collection of parts while Im away.
