59 viking lower fender reconstruct

started this thread to show pictures of the lower pass side fender reconstruct

back in the day just drill a hole ad a long bolt and fender washer call it good
....Fast foward 38 years with The help from the people here the internet
almost all parts for these truck available thought I could do better
.

I don't have those skills... I've tried it doesn't come easy

the magic is were the inner fender skin that runs up the edge of inside the fender & connect to the lower corner of cab bracket that inner piece is gone
either have to fab it a find a good used fender to butcher

the front fender lower inner brace is available for the pick ups for about $30. the cabs are the same, so the profile would be the same where the fender and the cab meet. maybe you could make one of those brackets work on the back side of your fender so you could support the fender to the cab mount area. then fab up or buy a lower rear fender patch for a pick up and use what you need to fit your fatty fenders.

the fender brace was one of the part numbers i listed from the lmc link
you doing a bang up job on the cab restoration
