Dashboard ambient light sensors

I have a 2001 Denali and I am pretty sure that the ambient light sensor on the dash is bad(headlights on all the time), but I have two sensors in my dash. Does anyone know what the second one is for? And also, are they both the same part number so I can change both at the same time? Thanks folks!

Re: Dashboard ambient light sensors

I think I have figured it out. The sensor on the drivers side GM#15740822 is the sun load sensor for HVAC. The sensor on the passenger side GM#12450120 is the standard DRL ambient light sensor.
