It's alive!

I got my Panel back on the road today, after losing a piston last weekend. It even runs better and has a little bit more oil pressure. I think there was some problem with that #4 hole all along. Before, I always had an annoying little noise that I thought was a lifter or something. I tried a few things but never could get it to go away. It's gone now. Even won 10 bucks off my kid, who bet me I would have to pull the motor to change a piston.

Re: It's alive!

Yep-the old girl runs pretty good now. I felt good enough to take it to the Joe Bonamassa/Kenny Wayne Shepard tonight. Mrs. P wasn't so sure, but it made the 50 mile round trip to Park City just fine. I just gotta keep my right foot up off the floor a little bit and remember that it ain't gonna do 75. At least not until the 327 is installed.
