Bruce at vintage rod barn in woodburn Or. He is on this site as well, has a yellow 71 SWB dropped. really nice guy and has a great shop to work out of.

Nice. I use to live in Woodburn. I want to find some one to do the body work on mine and get it ready for me to paint. Love to paint hate to do body work. LOL Check out the Oregon section I'm going to orginize another get together soon.

progress this week

The boys and I had some good progress the end week of 2011, we dropped the engine in yesterday, trans and finished the brake and fuel lines. Today we wrapped up the power steering, started and fuel pump. lubed the chassis and got her back on all four wheels. Next week its just waiting for the front sway bar from ECE to arrive and mount the core support after we drill and tap it for the cooling fans and trans cooler. Then its just finishing the small stuff waiting for the cab and doors next month.

Kinda small pic, but here is how she looked yesterday.
(turn signal tubes weren't installed yet...that's why the arrows look white)

High beam indicator is in the top of the water temp gauge, above the "2" in "240".

If any of the gauges are in the wrong location, shoot me a message using the phone number I gave you and I can move them around.
Again, I hope to ship it out on Monday.
