Thumbs up Shortbed Panel!

How many times have I photoshopped this??? He did exactly what I would and used truck doors too. In fact if you read the article he made it from a truck and a Burb (notice the driprail goes all the way down the back like a burb). Check it: Linkage here

Re: Shortbed Panel!

You can see where the flatter truck roof tapers up into the more bulging burb roof. Gives it a bit of a rakish look. I kind of like it.

Re: Shortbed Panel!

THAT looks awesome. And the color combination was a good choice too.

What you ought to do now Frizzle Fry is take that Tahoe project to the next level by adding a 4th door.

I love the look of the exterior. But not real crazy about that roll bar inside.

Re: Shortbed Panel!

That is NICE! The work is outstanding.I really like the way he handled the roof. The color choice is spot on.I'm not crazy about the cage but it's done very nicely.

Re: Shortbed Panel!

Anyone have construction pic's of it?

What if??? Someone took a regular panel, shortened the roof and interior and installed SWB bedsides? Maybe a '67-'68 nose and side trim? If done right you could option it all out, 396 bbc, and make it look 100% stock. It could pass as a factory experimental test truck??? Real sleeper.

Maybe I have had too much coffee this morning....

Re: Shortbed Panel!

The first pics of it the proportions look funny to me the more I look at it. The other pics
toomanytoyz posted look good to me.

I would like to see a closer shot of the left barn door glass in that last picture.
