I settled on two finalists. I'm not a huge fan of the fake beadlocks, but it is a subtle modern touch and you pretty much can't get a wheel without it anymore.

My first pick was the Method Standard in a 16x8". This is a modern play on the wagon wheel. I was even thinking about getting them powdercoated white to match the white wagon wheels (which I think would be a GREAT idea for someone). They do offer this in an 8x6.5, 16x8 with 0 backspacing. These are a good buy online for ~160/wheel.

Number 2 was the American Racing Ansen off-road AR969. They offer this in a 16x8 0 backspacing 8x6.5. The black windows are pretty sweet I think. I found these online for $150/ea + free shipping and no tax.

I settled on and just order the Ansens. I'll post a pic when they are on.

Both of these look good. Two that I was looking at also

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?

Do these look like the correct Ford 8 lug rims people are using on our 3/4 ton trucks? They are from an E350 van.

Thanks!

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?

As I was strolling through a jy over the weekend I came across a sad site.
There was two of these wide steelies in this bin. They looked to be at least 9-10"wide with the inside nubs for caps.
They both were way too mangled too save.

I did find these two sweet looking alum mags in the for sale pile.
I would like too find 2 more but don't know what they are called.
Look like westerns, I Googled and haven't seen any with the twist like these.

Anybody know a name?

I know I may be putting the cart way ahead of the horse, but I really want a set of Level 8 Punch wheels.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?

Not certain the brand name.......16.5 x probably 9.75 on the rears, 16.5 and probably 8.25" on the fronts. I won't know for certain until I find 16" replacements. That in itself has become very frustrating to locate. I don't want to spend a lot of cash, but would like something that's presentable. Another pair of 8.25" ish would solve the problem as well.

Fronts are nearly flat and a nail in one. The rear tires have great tread, but some cracks in the sidewalls. It doesn't pencil out to address the fronts without the rears. One way or another the rears are coming off, because I refuse to spend $750ish for rear tires. Other than that these are bad&% wheels.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?

Is anyone out there using the Stockton 20 series? In 16", 8 lug? Price?

I'd like a set of stock steelies for the C20. 8 lug.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?

The Nissan NV utility vans come with 17x7.5 wheels 8x6.5 bolt pattern. They run like 80 bucks each on eBay. Wish I had seen them before I went with stock steelies.

I have the new wheels and tires all around, what I had shown you was on the front, and what new was on the rear, so to set myself straight, the outlaw wheels are on both the front and the rear, the caps went on like they were made for the rear

Boy, wagon wheels sure get around. Probably second most popular wheels on these trucks. I say popular by virtue of what fits, not by our choice. I'm ready to send mine out the door.

It may be an overused choice, but they just seem to work (both in looks & bolt up with no spacers). The whole truck looks good, BTW.
