Small score at the yard today

I went out to a guy I've known for about eight years now, but the first time since I retired from the army.
I went out, hoping to see the Half a dozen trucks he had to get some little things I've been looking for. The first thought was, "Argh! What did he do with all the trucks?" I jabbered with him for a bit, and at the end of the jabberin in he says "well I have a few of them trucks, over yonder 'hind my house, go take a look and see what you can find".
Though it is sad to see old automotive masterpieces sitting in the woods, I just wandered around looking at stuff from the 20s-70s. Muscle cars, sedans, trucks of all sizes, and uses, and even a few motorcycles. At one point, I stood in he middle of a dozen 57 Chevys, which were right next to the 55s and 56s.
Anyway, I did find a few emblems, and the seat adjuster pieces that I needed, but the jewel I found today was a Radio Delete Plate, still in place.
I know it's small, but it's been years since I've seen one in a truck. I don't need it, but I bought it anyway.
I also picked up a pair of window crank handles, with chrome knobs, just to change the look a little. They're out of a late 60s car so the "fit".
Oh did I mention the the temp was at 99 degrees with a heat index to of 108?
The things we'll do when we're having fun, huh?
Next, I'll go looking for a couple Clutch Delete covers, but I didn't think about that today. Oh well

Another item that I "found" was two AM-FM 8-track two post Stereos, I have a notion to go and get them just to see if I could get them working.
