anyone on here used a Chevy Colorado rear end?

seems tr he colorado could mame a decent rear end for my 1957 track width seems good and 6 lug is nice. plus the 2wd is supposedly 373 gearing which I don't mind for my setup found a few threads that said they used it but not necessarily many photos or comments on how it works out or what I have to change to make it work such as spring perches or whatnot.
thanks

Snoop around on the Colorado fourum (s) There is some good info on rear axe widths wms to wms and how to figure out the gear ration in a donor truck in a wrecking yard.

Some worth while info here https://talk.classicparts.com/thread...-1-3-16.22271/

I think their widths are similar to the S10. 4x4 around 60 and ZR1 around 62.

Re: anyone on here used a Chevy Colorado rear end?

I couldn't find the link but there are at least three widths. The 62 width would work pretty good with most wheels that guys would run The hub on the axle is larger than stock AD or TF wheels though. A guy could pull the axles and have them turned down out past the thickness of the drum if he didn't want to change wheels but that is an added expense unless you have a buddy with a lathe. It would be the correct diameter for the drum to center on and then stepped down for the rim to center on.
