Different TV cables and brackets

Hey has anyone ran across different TV cables for turbo 350 tranmissions?

1. One that the TV Cable snaps into the bracket that is attached to the drivers furthest back bolts on the intake and you adjust the cable within the cable itself. Most common.

2. One that the TV Cable housing has a long hole and bolts to a bracket with one bolt, the bracket is attached to the drivers furthest back bolts on the intake and you adjust the cable by loosening the bolt securing the cable to the bracket, and sliding the cable itself on the bracket.

Does anyone have experience with #2 and can help me get it close before driving? The cable I have in the trans belongs to #2.

And I gotta tell you, this #2 bracket is hard to find, still looking.

Thank you in advance. Lets try and not get side tracked on 700r4 cable adjustment or TH400 kickdown switches. Thanks.

T 350 don't use tv cables, they are kick down cables only. Adjust as follows,,,,engine off, have throttle at wide open, adjust kickdown cable to max out,. Make sure vacuum modulator has full vacuum source at manifold.

You can drive it without the cable hooked up, it just won't have a kickdown function. Unlike 700r4 s that need their tv input for line pressure adjustments etc.
