Big plans for the weekend! All new body mounts and most of the seals and gaskets.

Now for the question part. I already purchased a 4" suspension lift but I am torn on if I am going to put it on or not. Any thoughts or before and after pictures would be appreciated. I have 33" tires and don't plan on seeing any real 4 wheeling.

I've got 33 X 12.50 on my Blazer. They'll fit stock height if you aren't doing any wheeling. I ended up doing a 2.5" lift on mine because the fronts would rub when turned all the way and loaded up (like when going around steep switchbacks). A 4" lift is more than you'd need (IMHO).

I love the look of these trucks with a lift so I vote for the install. I dont have any after pics of mine yet but I'll tell you it looks so much tougher now with the 2". Actually my 2" ended up lifting my Blazer 3" and MikeS's Blazer looks like it sits up just as high as mine there is little difference between 2"-2.5" and 4" lifts as far as ride height.

Here's my rig with 4" lift and stock 16" wheels & tires (approx 31.5" tall).

I have a Rough Country with the springs in the front and block in the back. If I decide to do it I would probally just put the block in back for now and upgrade later.

I got a deal I couldn't pass up! Free when I bought the Blazer.

I've been running the Blazer without for about a year and no rubbing issues, but I see some on here with the 4" and they look great and some look like they should go up to a 35" tire. Does this make sense or should I cut back on the beer?

My first Blazer had a 4" lift and 35's. Prior to my orange '72, I had a '69 with a 6" lift and 35's. Every brand of tire measured different, so if one brand fits fine, the next may be larger and rub.

33" tires generally look great with a 4" lift, but like bouncytruck said, tires and lifts vary from actual listed size. I say throw it on there and see what it looks like. You can always pull it back off again. Oh, don't cut back too much on the beer!

well this is my blazer with 33`s and no lift, it doesnt rub but i don`t pound on it either, but it has gotton muddy a few times..

Rides Rough, but looks really good IMO

good point.
Another thing is wheel. 8" vs 10". 8" will make the tire taller than a 10".

My Blazer has no lift and my 32's rub when I turn hard to the right. I want mine lifted and would love to go as High as possible. I think our Blazers look 100% Better Lifted. Any Of you other board members with lift experience Have any advice with possibly going to High?

33's look and work great on a stock truck with a 10" rim and 4" back space. 8" rims rubbed, at least mine did. I put the 4" on with 33x14.5 MT Baja Belteds and IMO, it looked absolutely ridiculous. 2.5 would be OK, but 35's with a 4" unless you are an aggressive offroader, then stay with the 33's for clearance. Here is my 4" with 35x14.5 MT Baja Belteds. It has 35" BFG MT's now which I like MUCH better, but they were nearly 1" taller on the same rim.

i think bouncy's and vt blazers sit how they shoudl have down them from the factory , those are perfect examples of what a good moderate lift with a perfect stance should look like

or you can just get silly like mine lol
