Intake manifolds

Aside from the casting numbers ,what is the difference between a 300 hp intake manifold and a 270 hp intake manifold? Both are cast iron ,both use a Q jet. Carb. Can both be used in a factory 1970 C30 with a 350 engine? Thanks for the info!

Re: Intake manifolds

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say there is no difference, at least from a driving standpoint. There may have been some incidentally changes to meet an emissions requirement.

Re: Intake manifolds

Can you take some pics (down into the gozinta side below the carb, and gozoutta side where the ports match the head? Maybe someone else knows the difference...

Re: Intake manifolds

Same intakes, the 300hp motors had 64cc heads...
