Yeah I know. But ford used the exact same speed sensors in 1969-73 for their cruise control as gear vendors does so the bracket was taylor made for that sensor and looks completely like it should be there. I know it's still a Ford part. At least it doesn't have a fomoco part number stamped into it. I would have had to fill it over.

You may save your rationalizations. A straw fits perfectly in my nose, but as a method for drinking, it leaves much to be desired. You have gone too far this time my friend. This is MADNESS!!!! MADNESS I SAY!!!!

If there's one thing I hate it's having metric bolts on my 67. My new ac compressor came with metric threads for the front bolts. I tapped them to sae threads. I'll be putting the original style decal on to cover these when it's completed.
