Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

This “car” was up in Ohio traveling on I-75 when I saw it back in May of ‘85. I did note at the time it had Florida tags. About 2 months later l was in Florida on vacation and my dad made a wrong turn into a residential area and I couldn’t believe my eyes, there was that car again- crazy! That’s my younger brother in the pic

That's Sloppy John's car ! AKA Mahuffer's the worst dive bar in Indian shores .Fl You have to look thru some of the pictures of this place it fits right in this thread , He was famous for the cars he drove around Tampa bay and for having the absolute worst dive bar on the beach ! The bar is still there but old John has passed away . As bad as it is it stays busy all the time .

And Moose on power lines is really a thing? We don't have 'em here so I wouldn't know.

I do think that the guy who gets them down needs to post up on Larry's "Unusual Job" thread

POOR MOOSE

How do you get a moose 50 feet in the air by accident?

Pogo Moose Incident – Fairbanks, Alaska

“Isn’t that just amazing. They were laying new power cables. They were strung on the ground for miles. The moose are rutting right now and very agitated. He was thrashing around and got his antlers stuck. When the men (miles away) pull the lines up with their big equipment, he went too.

They couldn’t get the lines right and went searching for the problem. He was still alive when they lowered him, but he had to be shot later because he was in distress. He was a huge 60 inch bull.”

Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

The guardrail is so ironic! The same thing happened in front of my place of business today. It wasn't quite as dramatic, but it still happened. This guy was driving an F150 and the guardrail wet straight into the center of the grille and curled up around the motor. My neighbors mailbox ended up poking out of the guys fender, it looked bizarre up on the flatbed when they hauled it I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Thanks Grumpy! The whole story is l was coming out of Atlanta heading north when I looked in my mirror and thought “what on earth?” He passed me with two boys (8-12 years old) with him in the front seat. About an hour later I passed him as he and the boys were wrenching on it on the berm, this happened a few times. He gets it going and would pass me, then have a problem and I pass him. It was starting to get dark the last time I passed him in KY. I stopped at a hotel in Cincinnati and the next morning I hadn’t been on I-75 more than 15 minutes when I looked in my mirror and busted out laughing, here he comes again! I soon got off the interstate and went home trying to describe the crazy car I saw. Couldn’t believe we stumbled onto it a couple months later when we were in Clearwater. I doubt the law would allow youngsters to travel like that nowadays

Love the dogs. I'm trying to figure out how the el camino camper would work? The canned beef just doesn't look like something I would ever crave! Very cool moving work bench. That's one way of stopping a pressure valve of working as designed!

How the heck do you get the brown bread out of the can? I've actually seen the disc brakes like that a couple of times.
