question about a 55 chevy (sorry i know this is not truck)

could anyone tell me what a 55 2-dr post 210 body would be worth? the body work has mostly been done - it has been off the frame - many body panels have been put in along with trunk panels - there are still some holes to fill in the floor pans but not too bad - the problem is that all that goes with the car is not there - the only thing there is is the body on a rolling chassis - no bumpers, chrome, interior, seats, glass, etc. how much? thanks

How bad do you want a 55? Personnally I like the 2 door posts better than the hardtops. It's been 20 yerars since I dealt with a 55 chevy, but the parts you need are everywhere and just about anything. They just aren't cheap.

I have seen what you are describing go from anywhere around $1000 (if they like you) to couple grand. Since yours is a post and by numbers a 210 and not a Belair, I would say closer to the lower end. If you can get it for under a grand and that is what you want go for it, but it will cost you, especially the body trip.

You can adapt suspension from chevy alsmost to it. My High school friend still has a 56 that has the entire undercarriage and mechanics from his 69 vette.

Good luck man. They are the "CLASSIC HOT ROD"....nest to Randy's coupe.
