Stock 67-72 tach with 12v?

Hey guys, I've searched and can't find this answer. Can I use my stock tech with my 91.5 12v? I've seen some of those adapters for your dampener, with diff pulse readings. Hopefully someone has done this. Thanks!!

If you have a pick up sensor and have 4 notches milled into your vibration dampner, you can get it to work. You have to solder in a 1k ohm resistor in between the signal and pos wires on the pick up sensor harness to get it to work. I'll have to dig up my notes. I haven't gotten to that on mine yet.

Re: Stock 67-72 tach with 12v?

Matt,

Thank you very much for the pics!
I am getting ready to start a swap into a 1972 C-30 and I am just trying to get all the info I can.
Did you use the stock second gen intercooler?

Thanks!
Alex
