Re: 1972 K5 4x4 modified build

SO I was wondering if you had some pics of the front shock mounts, especially how they cleared your steering shaft. Also, did you use spacers on the upper shock mount?

I know I'm a few years late but just found this thread since recently joining this forum. Your build and fab skills are simply amazing, I like everyone else who has commented am floored by your fab talents. Hard to believe this was your first big build like this. Did you just teach yourself how to do this or what?! Will you adopt me so I can learn from you? Ha. How long did the build take to the point you had it out in the snow? Any new progress??

Here are a few, let me know if you need others. I did space it out a bit to clear while the suspension cycles.

Thanks for the kind words. Took about 3 years, with a year of no work since I was burned out. Built a canvas bikini top for it, I will update as I iron out the bugs on it, nothing else really.

Thank you kindly. Hopefully the Chevelle we are working on will come out the same.
