...I asked earlier if there was a good rule of thumb in choosing larger wheel and tires when wanting more than factory size and not have them scrub..haven't rec'd a reply..don't know if there is one, but if there is I sure do need to know..Thanks!

Im facing the same problem of picking a tire size for my 8" rally wheels on stock hight truck but definitely want BF Goodrich T/A Radials .Are all T/A radials the same or do they need to be rated for light trucks ?

No, they are the same. You can run over to Summit in McDonough and pick 'em up and not have to pay shipping!

Looks like Radial T/A tires are not in my budget ,everywhere I have checked they are very pricey .Summit Racing has the best price but they are 2 hours south of me .Im waiting to see if Discount Tire will meet Summits price ,if so I may be able to swing that as they are 20 minutes from my home.

I have had a set of 2 van rallies and two truck rallies for a while now so I am really thinking of buying four new tires to change the look of my bucket.
My truck is lowered 4/6 I already know about the rear tires 275/60/15 but I have no idea for the front.
any suggestions?

That black suede truck looks killer and yes I like the tires too. Still looking as my truck is going to be in the body shop for a while .

Just swapped out today the chrome ralley's (8's with 255/60/15 front and 10's with 275/60/15 rear) for my original Corvette ralley's with the same size tires. Less bling with the painted ralley's and more old school is the reason I swapped. Will keep the chrome set up in case I get the urge for a new look. Drop is 3.5"/5". Opinions welcome.

Look to Wheel Vintiques and others for center caps and accessories. Try Summit Racing for a good list of wheels and accessories.
There are always spinners and caps and stickons sold on ebay all the time.

Can you help me determine this set up, front and back drop dimensions and wheel size? I'll take a ballpark estimate if you can't determine from the picture. Searched hundreds of photos and this is exactly the set up I'm looking to do. I'm new to this and if you could point me in the right direction I should be able to start researching, just need some keywords to start off. The truck appears to be almost parallel with the ground, is that typical are is the rear usually a bit higher? Also, does this look like short bed to you? Think this would look just as good on a long bed?
Pending the configuration, could I put these wheels onto a stock 69 C10 and lower it later?

That truck has been lowered. 2-1/2" drop spindles up front and 4" drop springs in back. 8" X 15" Rally wheels with 275/60-15's all four corners and you'll have an almost level truck that you can still use to haul a bike or whatever. These trucks typically came from the factory with about a 2" rake to allow for hauling. The drop spindles will maintain your steering and suspension geometry up front and if you wish to get another inch or two lower after the drop spindles you can cut 1/2 coils out of the front factory springs. Every 1/2 coil is an inch of drop. Yes you can run those wheels and tires and drop the truck later. The 2-1/2 drop spindles will just allow the 8" wheels with 275/60-15's to clear the fenders with no issues. Heres my 72 LWB with the above drop and wheel/tire combo.

15x10 wheels with what look to be 275/60/15 tires.
