I didn't do jack on my truck this weekend!!!
I really wanted to work on my flares. But being tomorrow is Easter and I am smoking 6 racks of ribs and a tri-tip, I had no time for my truck. Truck needs a bath too. I had to fix one of my smokers. It was so warped from my wife cooking on it that the metal needed to be re-bent and hammered into place. She had never bbq'd before with wood and didn't know how much to use....ran it at over 600 degrees for 30 minutes and a giant grease ball in the back yard. I salvaged the poor thing. However I will have 2 smokers going for the large family meal. Rubs are marinading the meats in the fridge right now. All I can say is its almost as good as working on my truck.

Yep, there's more to life than trucks.

About to pull the ham off the smoker. Can't wait to chow down. Have a bucket of minnows ready to go after lunch, hopefully take the kiddos fishing. If the ham isn't any good we will fry up the minnows.

Yeah, only on Easter Sunday.
EDIT: I ended up putting a set of tires on my truck Easter Sunday morning, before heading up to my brother's a couple plus hours away
