Linkage for Holley 4160 on ‘68 327?

Just installed a Holley 4160 on my 327 (cast iron square bore manifold) and trying to make the linkage work. The linkage is the original, which is a rod with a stud at the carb and a threaded joint back at the pedal linkage. Looking for ideas to make this set-up work...or perhaps change to a ball/socket type of connection at the carb. Is there anything over the counter that will work? Or do I have to fab?

Thanks!
