For an extra $100 you would be better of IMO, to go with https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mll-bp3833ct1

Roller cammed 383 stroker...just add carb, correct dist and water pump...

That's not a bad deal. On a side note, I don't understand why people think a 383 is overrated.

The Summit page incorrectly says that 350 he was looking at needs a serpentine belt system...it doesnt...I just read the responses on Summit re the serpentine system,,,,m at Summit made a woopsy in a response.

The 383 I recommended is a full long block...sure it needs dressing...

But who would install a new engine without replacing water pump and new distributor with correct gear for roller cam...
