4wd Value?

Found what's left of a 4wd in junkyard. Is this a v-8 crossmember and mounts? What's it or possibly frame worth. It's under a rust Burb. Front has been converted to disc.

Re: 4wd Value?

That's why I'm asking. It was orig manual and I'm not too keen on 4wd parts. Frame looks to be orig but has had upgrades. Is the x-member correct fo year?

Re: 4wd Value?

Are you able to pull entire cars from junk yards there? Around here, you can only pull parts...

Seems like a huge job pulling a burn body off a frame in a junk yard. If you wanted the frame that is....

Re: 4wd Value?

looks like it may be the orig frame as for the raised section of frame rail. it may be a 4 x 4 conversion. It does also have a later frt end in it also
easy way is to see the front cab mounts
the later eng c/member will fit in there

Re: 4wd Value?

I'm thinking it is a '73+ K series frame and running gear. Comparing the frame VIN with the body VIN will tell you for sure. If it is an original frame someone went to a lot of work updating the frame and running gear.

Re: 4wd Value?

Didn't ask price on frame. Pretty sure frame is orig. Front horns are correct but has been upgraded to disc,ps and auto. It does have vin tag but not sure if can be put back on road.
