Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

Hey guys! Newb here. This is the 67 swb I just picked up last week. Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much drop is on it? I had to drive it up on a stack of 2x4's to get my floor jack underneath it. Front tires are 215/70r15. Rear are 295/50r15. Thanks

My guess is it looks like about a 4.5/6 drop.

They look good, but on my 64 I can only jack from the side. Not sure if my small floor jack will even work with a flat so I carry a scissor jack in case I need to jack it up to get a jack under it.

Your truck looks really goo!

Thanks guys. It's definitely got a ways to go, but it's a solid start. I'm thinking 4.5/6 is probably pretty close. I know it has 2.5" spindles and i have a set of 1" springs to put in. So hopefully it brings the front up just a little. I have new wheels and tires on the way, so hopefully they'll fit alright.

Thanks! I'm just going to have to see how it looks with the 1" springs and go from there. I ordered chrome Ridler wheels in a 20x10, 20x8.5 staggered setup from cpp. Hopefully I can get it sitting just right.

I've had this truck now for 25 years and have touched every nut and bolt on it at one time or another. Kids won’t let me sell it, too many Good memories.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

My first post. WOW! A LOT of nice looking trucks here! I'm almost embarrassed to post pics of mine, but then again I just got it. It's a '72 LWB that my late father-in-law purchased brand new. Needs a lot of TLC. Plan on getting it back to like new condition and then pass it on to my son. After I enjoy it for a while, of course.

spdcop, I've been to olive branch. Bumper and grill would do that truck fine, it looks straight. Is that the original paint?
