Yep, bought the truck last week. The rear shocks were shot and after further inspection found all that mess. A big cheater bar and some heat, I won. Not a biggy, it's always interesting going through a vehicle for the first time.

That's the thing, nothing was rattling but the rear end was a little unruly on bumpy dirt roads

You should be able to find a decent set of mounts in the for sale section. I would go with a new set of U holds and nuts.

I've got a shipment from LMC coming in tomorrow with new mounts U-bolts, washers and nuts
