1977 K15 fan blade

Done a lot of searching and cannot seem to locate exactly what fan should be on this truck. PO put a new 350 crate motor in it with a non clutch 4 blade fan on it. I ordered the sever duty Hayden clutch for it, but can't seem to find the correct fan now. Does anyone have a part number or website where I can get one? Also been searching salvage yards but without any luck. Thanks in advance!

Re: 1977 K15 fan blade

Was your K15 a 305 truck? Just curious, my 77 C10 305 came with a 4 blade non clutch fan. Yours may be the original. I can't help with a part number for a bigger fan though.

Re: 1977 K15 fan blade

My 75 C10 with AC came with a 7 blade fan. 5 blades are common as well. Don't limit your junkyard runs to the truck section. I think the fan blades were common between the RWD cars, trucks and vans from that era. Don't think there is any difference between K and C series fan blades.

You should be able to find the correct fan here:

Re: 1977 K15 fan blade

How big is your rad 3 core or a two core, is it copper or is it alum. Do you have A/C.
How big is the cam in the crate motor. Are you using the truck towing. How heavy is your truck / rear gear low or high
A clutch 5 blade fan over a 4 blade solid steel fan is better for hp after idel on highway moving.( above idel the clutch freewheels around 900 to 1000 up to 1200 rpm, when you in stop or very slow traffic lock up then the fan works.)
There is lots of combo. You want the blades to be 1/4" in side the shroud to get the best pull out of them.
