Idea? 67-72 Suburban converted to Avalanche

It seems like alot less work than the Tahoe idea. What do you thinks?

67-72 Suburban converted to Avalanche?

What do you think? Looks easier than the Tahoe conversion to me.

Would have to see a photochop before I could say one way or another.

Here's one that is Avalanche-ish. It could have been done a little a differently IMO, but it gives you basic idea of what it would look like.

I thought they made those in Mexico or something.

Re: 67-72 Suburban converted to Avalanche?

They did make somthing similiar in South America, but the one above was built by someone besides GM. Being that it is a 4X4, its believed that it may have been a conversion for the forestry service or similiar. The ad below shows yet another variation of a Avalanche-type pickup. The 2nd pic below is a South American burb.

Re: Idea? 67-72 Suburban converted to Avalanche

Did those come with a rear hatch? I've only seen pics with a solid rear window. Hello leaks! Never mind, I read the post

Here's another one. Not in the same category as a Tahoe for comparison IMO... Two separate animals. Both with their own pro's and Cons.
