ID OE Blazer Doors?

Is this correct to a 69 to 71 door? I was stunned at how crude they produced these. Is there some sort of cover that goes on top of the vent frame and edge door sill?

Thanks, Steve

Hard to tell from those pics if they're correct for those years.Need to see inside of the door to see if there is a plastic or a metal ferrule and screw...but those doors are crude from the factory. There is a weatherstrip type channel that slides down into the door that will cover the one cut then there is another plastic piece to cap by the top of the vent window.

Doesn't look like it has the reinforcement for the latch which should be spotwelded in may be a truck door cut down.

^^^^^^^^ Same thing I saw.........cut truck doors

And yes, there should be a cap that covers the top.

Re: ID OE Blazer Doors?

Factory Blazer doors were cut truck doors too. At least that's what my Jimmy looked like when I re-did the doors 25 years ago. With some latch reinforcement added. The cap on the back of the door is molded into the rear window guide rubber.
