Need springs for 82,C-30!

I have a 82,C-30 dually car hauler that needs spring sets on the rear.
What GM later model springs will fit/work?
I'm looking to get some good used ones for it.
I haven't measured the length of mine yet,but it has 8 on the lower stack and 4 on the upper stack.
I want to buy a newer used set and "build" mine back to what it has or even a little stiffer.
Thanks,Mike.

I've always just bought new, they're not that expensive really. All springs fatigue, why buy used ?

Re: Need springs for 82,C-30!

New would be around $200.00 per side!
Plus shipping!
So,for about $500.00 or so,I won't buy new, when I can buy them in good used condition for less than $200.00 locally with no shipping. What I can afford.
Reason I'm asking what will fit.
And,the site you offered only shows the lower stack and doesn't show individual leafs.Or,I didn't see them.
I need to build them for my hauler, because it hauls a little more than a ton.
Thanks for the help.
Mike.

OK.
If you could swing them their #22-617HD are 1,150lb per side stronger than regular one ton pickup rears.

Just measure width, length, and stack height and go to a "Pick-A- Part" and browse.

Re: Need springs for 82,C-30!

I replaced all four on my K30 for what the local shop wanted to do the rears only.

I'm planning to do that!
But,I have to be careful as I seem to always bring home way more than I originally went after!
