1965 SWB Running Gear

Will the Running gear and disc break system off a 1974 Chevrolet bolt right up to the 1965 Frame? I bought a rusty 74 with all new running gear, posi rear end, disc breaks rebuilt 454 and turbo 400, I wanted to steel everything from this frame and bolt on to the 65.

Thanks
Dan

Complete front cross member should bolt in. Differential will need simple, welded mods to the u-bolt locations & pan hard bar attachment.

Yes, buying a complete donor truck as you did is probably the best way to go about upgrading your '65. There will be a few things you will need to change along the way, such as engine mounts and trailing arm mounts on the differential, but it is definitely doable.
